Description
Valve housings type RA-N are used in two-string systems.
The valves have integrated presetting so that the maximum water flow is not exceeded.
RA-N is available in versions for threaded pipes, with chrome-plated surface and for press systems.
A newly developed self-sealing nipple with o-ring seal is used in chrome-plated and pressure designs, which makes the use of gasket materials superfluous.
All thermostatic elements in the RA 2000 series fit the RA-N. The technical data in combination with RA 2000 elements complies with Euronormen EN 215. In the construction period before the element is installed, the heat can be regulated with the valve body’s cover.
The color of the cover cap indicates the type of valve. RA-N has a red cover cap. An arrow on the valve body shows the flow direction. If it is necessary to add chemicals to the circulating water to avoid limescale formation and corrosion, it is important that the supplier’s instructions are followed.
